Passage

I felt like this film was very dependent on sound to create a temp for the visual aspect.  On mute, I am sure that this film would look like a whole bunch of drawings thrown at you.  When synced up to a soundtrack and an underscore, the viewer can see the temp and reasoning for when the drawings appear and for how they move.  In a way, you could say that sound is used as a motivation.  It motivated the color, shape, and movement.  Simply it choreographed the whole film.  It also felt like I was looking into a kaleidoscopic.  It was very hyper and kept me drawn in.  Without the soundtrack and underscore, however, I don't feel like I would have been as engaged.
